Wisdom of birds – TEDTalks by Tim Birkhead

Wisdom of birds is one those videos that I found when I was going TEDtalks (part of my learning each day).  In this video, Tim believe we can learn from the birds.  I am most amazed by what I learnt. From the 7 minutes onwards, Tim share how the bird learns different types of songs.  That was new to me.

In this video, “Wisdom of Birds” author Tim Birkhead tours some intriguing birdwatcher lore (dug up in old field journals) — and talks about the role it plays in ornithology today.  He is a witty teacher who can tell a good story to illustrate a point, in clear, prose without jargon. To emphasize the historic aspect in this video, his humorous illustrations of birds are all from past centuries, showing how much attention different bird guides had given toward getting details right

This is a 28 minutes video.  Hope you enjoyed this as well.
